trained to respond to any emergency situation. All villas are equipped
with smoke detectors and all areas have alarm pull stations which are
monitored 24 hours a day. In the event of an emergency, contact the
Emergency Desk (Press 888) and report the location of the emergency.
Please be aware of the following
• Your villa number.
• Location and route of pathways to your villa and to the lobby.
• Study the layout of the villa and familiarise yourself with the
emergency exits.
• Inspect your villa and locate the fire extinguisher in the wardrobe.
• Locate and learn how to turn off the air-conditioning system and
ceiling fans.
• Always keep villa key by the bedside.
If you detect a fire or smoke
• Remain calm.
• Call the Emergency Desk immediately (Press 888) and provide your
name and location.
• Exit the affected area immediately via the emergency route.
Advise the emergency desk of
• The exact nature of the emergency (smoke, fire, sparks, etc).
• The exact location.
• Your name and location.
To evacuate your villa The resort is equipped with a fire detection system, and our team is
• Touch the door with the back of your hand – if it feels hot,
do not exit the villa.
• Tie a wet hand towel or cloth over your nose and mouth.
• Close the doors and windows to keep the fire from spreading.
• If there is no smoke, exit to the pathway.
• If there is smoke, remain calm, drop to your hands and knees and
crawl to the exit and pathway (air is fresher at floor level).
Move away from the danger zone and against the direction of the wind.
Please follow the emergency escape route to the safe assembly point
at the lobby.
If your exit is blocked
Go back to your villa, remain calm and call the Emergency Desk (Press 888).
If you cannot leave your villa
• Stay low to the floor. Tie a wet cloth over your nose and mouth
for easier breathing.
• Fill the bathtub with water – you may need it to wet the villa.
• Turn off the air-conditioners and fans.
• Seal the villa from smoke – stuff wet towels, sheets, etc in
cracks around doors and windows and in airconditioning vents.
• Call the Emergency Desk (Press 888) and share your location.
